NETS: 1,2,3,6 Materials: ·Computer ·Access to PrimaryAccess.com ·IWB to present comics ·Rubric Prior Knowledge: Students will have already learned how to write a beginning, middle, and end to a story. They also will have used the IWB to present projects before. Procedure: Day 1- Students will learn how to use Primary Access ·Students will watch a demonstration of how to use Primary Access. ·After I am done the demonstration, students will brainstorm ideas for a comic strip. ·As a class, we will create a five slide comic strip using Primary Access. ·As a homework assignment, students will create a story board for their own comic strip. Day 2- Students will create comic strip. ·Students will be in the computer lab. ·They will use their story boards to create a comic strip. ·When they finish they can look at a partners and provide feedback. ·Any changes that need to be made will have to be done during this period. Day 3 and 4- Students will present ·Students will be randomly selected to present their comic to the class on one of these days. ·They will use the white board and remote to present. ·Students will be able to ask questions and provide feedback to students whom are presenting. Assessment: Students will be scored using a rubric.
